    Jeff Angleberger, President:

    I have lived in Colton since 1994 with my wife Angel and our four children.  Two have graduated from CPCS and college and two Jacob (13) and John Henry (11) are currently enrolled at CPCS.

    I am a consultant to the power industry and I have been employed by Tri-Tech Energy Services since 1999.  Much of my work involves the training of operators at new and existing power generating and thermal facilities.   Although I do travel occasionally, I work mainly out of my office in my home.

    I am the President of Colton Youth Soccer, providing a summer soccer program for our children.

    I have served on the Board of Education since 2002, and have served as President for the past two years.

    Steve Knight:

    Over the last twenty years, I have worked as an assistant administrator, administrator, and Director of Operations for United Helpers. United Helpers is a health care and community services provider who has been successfully meeting the needs of St. Lawrence County since 1898. With over 850 employees and a combine operating budget in excess of $40M, United Helpers is one of the largest employers in St. Lawrence County. I have experience in operations, budgeting, human resources, state regulations, planning, new program development and capital projects. Additionally, I have board experience with the St. Lawrence County Health Initiative, St. Lawrence County Community Services Board, St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, North Country Transitional Services and I have served on various committees of the New York State Association of Homes and Services for the Aging; a State-wide trade association. Most importantly, I believe in public education and am committed to helping our school be the best that it can be. I can be reached at 262-2740 or by email at sknight8@twcny.rr.com.

    Scott Baxter:

    My name is Scott A. Baxter and was born and raised in Potsdam. I graduated high school in 1977 and moved to Florida in February of 1978, to do construction work then on to Texas. In May of 1980, I enlisted in the United States Air Force as a Security Specialist in the Security Police career field retiring in September of 2000 as a Master Sergeant.  As  a  Security Police instructor for 15 of my 20 years,  I taught classes ranging from basic police skills, riot control to SWAT team tactics.

    Since 2000, I have worked at J.C. Merriman Inc.  I am responsible for all accounts payable, day to day inventory control as well as sales of building materials. I have been actively involved with Potsdam Youth Baseball for the past five years and I am currently serving as Vice President.

    My wife, Stephanie and I have been married for three years. I have three children of my own, Nicole is a college student in Presque Isle, Maine, Chelsie is in 11th grade and Joseph is in 8th grade both at Potsdam. Together, Stephanie and I are raising Matthew 5th grade and Catherine 2nd grade at Colton-Pierrepont Central.

    I have been a Board of Education member for a little less than one year and love the experience of working with the faculty, staff and students. I look forward to continuing to help Colton-Pierrepont Central School be one of the best schools in New York State

    Important School Tax Collection Information
    School Taxes for Colton-Pierrepont Central School will be collected by Ms. Rebecca Murray at Community Bank, N.A, in Potsdam, N.Y.

    To pay taxes in person:

    Collection hours in the lobby of Community Bank, 64-70 Market Street, Potsdam, NY

    Monday – Wednesday 9 am – 3 pm
    Thursday 9 am – 4 pm
    Friday 9 am – 5 pm

    To pay taxes by mail:
